From becoming a chartered member of the Convene Green Alliance, to initiating a plan to build a sustainable economy, San Antonio is committed to upholding environmental best practices.
On April 8, 2010, the City of San Antonio City Council adopted an ordinance requiring events with certain criteria to complete a Green Event Scorecard. The City of San Antonio’s Office of Sustainability has provided a guide to assist meeting planners with completing a Green Event Scorecard and provide tips to plan a greener event.
