Established over a century ago, the Guide began in France to offer practical advice to motorists and has since evolved to become an authority on the best in global dining and hospitality.

 

MICHELIN Awards and Selection Process

Restaurants included in the MICHELIN Guide are selected through a meticulous process by anonymous inspectors who evaluate each establishment based on five key criteria: ingredient quality, mastery of cooking techniques, flavor harmony, the chef’s unique expression, and consistency. This rigorous selection ensures uniform excellence across more than 45 countries worldwide.
